Melanie Matamoros Cruz is an Associate Attorney at Allen Norton & Blue’s Tampa Office. She represents public and private sector employers in various fields of employment and labor law, as well as before state and federal administrative agencies.

Melanie is a Double Gator who received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin School of Law in 2022 and her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in English from the University of Florida in 2018. She received book awards, the highest grade in her class in law school for Trial Practice and Clinics.  During law school, Melanie interned at the SEC Regional office and University of Florida’s General Counsel Office. As a fluent Spanish speaker, she can help clients communicate and analyze legal problems in collaboration with the different employees and decision makers involved.

Outside of the office, Melanie enjoys listening to podcasts and frequenting local farmers markets.
